Nobby Clark says he is owed money for the songs used

STARS from the Bay City Rollers are gearing up for a fresh battle over unpaid royalties.

Pat McGlynn, 52, and Nobby Clark, 59, are currently embroiled in a court worth millions of pounds with Sony Music, who own the Rollers’ former record label Arista Records.

And now the pair are readying themselves for more conflict after the label released two new compilations last month.

The CDs, a Greatest Hits and a Best Of compilation, feature Clark’s vocals and McGlynn’s guitar playing and backing vocals on a number of tracks.

Susan Boyle brothers feuding over star’s need for ‘constant care’

THE BROTHERS of Susan Boyle are feuding over the Scots songbird’s future career.

John and Gerry Boyle are said to have fallen out over the influence of Susan’s manager Andy Stephens, following revelations that the West Lothian star needs constant care.

Andy travels with Susan as she thrills excited fans on her global tour promoting debut album I Dreamed a Dream, and comforted her after she fainted at Heathrow Airport last month.

Gerry, 55, approves of Andy’s management, whereas John has blamed the former manager of Geri Halliwell and George Michael for his sister’s recent unhappiness. Continue reading

Wedding video lost during honeymoon

A NEWLY-MARRIED Scots couple has been left devastated after their wedding video went missing while on their honeymoon.

Karen and Chris Howden, from Inverness, were heading off to Tanzania for their dream break when they discovered the camera containing ten hours of their special weekend had disappeared.

It included special recorded messages from most of their 150 guests.

The £500 camera was a wedding present from Karen’s parents, Sandra and Alan Sutherland, and is presumed to have been lost as the couple travelled to Gatwick from Inverness on Sunday afternoon.

Distraught Karen, 24, has been ringing home every day from Africa asking if the camera has been handed in.
