Scottish men look at breasts first

AROUND half of Scots men admit that they always look at a woman’s breasts before they look at her face.

Those living in Edinburgh are most likely to cop an eyeful with city women boasting an average bra size of 36D.

In Aberdeen women are more petite, with 32A as the average.

But it is Glasgow’s women who are more likely to impress the boys.

Their average size of 36C is apparently “perfect” for 48 per cent of men.

Private garden members locked out by teenage boozers

A PRIVATE pleasure garden for the rich has been hijacked by yobs holding their own “lock-in” drinking sessions.

Keys to the tranquil gated Dean Garden at Edinburgh’s West End costs £110 per-year each – enjoyed as a private playground for almost 150 years.

But police have raised fears that some sets of the expensive keys have fallen into the wrong hands.

Cheif of BTP thinks “policing across boundaries” in important

THE CHIEF Constable of the British Transport Police said that public transport in Scotland should always be policed by his force – even if the debate on a single Scottish constabulary results in change.

He spoke of being able to “police across boundaries” when he met Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill in Edinburgh today (Tues) to talk about the ongoing partnership between the BTP and the Scottish Government.

Andy Trotter’s comments come just a week after Met Police Commissioner Sir Paul Stephenson backed calls for radical reform of forces across the country.

And in Scotland there has been a long-running debate on the future of the country’s policing, with ex-Chief Inspector of Constabulary Paddy Tomkins calling for one massive force to be created.

Man seriously injured in assualt

A MAN was left seriously injured after being attacked by a group of youths in the capital.

The group of four or five males pounced on the victim as he was walking onto London Road in the Abbeyhill area of Edinburgh.

The thugs – all aged between fifteen and sixteen years old – knocked him to the ground and injured his eye.

He later required surgery on the injury after the brutal assault.

Cops trade in their Nectar points for station TV

THRIFTY cops drove away a bargain for their Scots based police station – by saving Nectar points earned from fuelling up patrol cars.

Officers based at Lockerbie station in Dumfries and Galloway managed to accumulate so many loyalty points that they were able to bag a TV set for their station, allowing them to catch up on hit shows like The Bill and CSI during their breaks.

Each time the individual cops loaded up with petrol, they used their own personal Nectar cards to amass loyalty points, which they then donated back to their station.

And to ensure it was kept all above board, it was all recorded in the official gifts and hospitality register for the force which shows on November 14 2006 an entry stating “Nectar points accumulated with purchase of fuel” donated.
