If 2009 is already a Blur, get your T in the Park 2010 tickets

KEEN festival lovers can snap up next year’s T in the Park tickets today (Tuesday) from 10am.

While some campers are still making their way home from this year’s Balado spectacular, others are already looking ahead to 2010.

Limited tickets for next year’s event go on sale online today, at this year’s prices.

Organisers were celebrating a successful 16th festival yesterday (Monday) as they waved goodbye to the 85,000 music fans.

They said the festival crowd had been noted as one of the most relaxed and happy in the event’s history.

EDWYN Collins’ wife blames herself for the stroke that almost killed him.

The legendary Scots singer-songwriter suffered two brain haemorrhages and contracted MRSA while in hospital four years ago.

Another chapter in his amazing recovery will be written on Friday night, when the ‘A Girl Like You’ singer makes his first ever T in the Park appearance in the King Tut’s Wah Wah Tent.

But the 49 year-old’s partner Grace Maxwell, who has held his hand every step of the way, says she was to blame for ignoring his addiction to painkillers.

REVELLERS should pack their wellies for T in the Park this year as forecasters are predicting a muddy washout.

Torrential downpours and thunderstorms next week are set to leave the Balado festival site soaked, with the Met Office predicting localised flooding.

But with 10 days to go, organisers insist the heavy rain won’t put the festival in jeopardy.

And local garden centres are stocking up on Wellington boots and waterproofs to cash in on the mudbath.

In 2007 many retailers ran out of wellies on the first day of Scotland’s biggest music event, leaving music lovers with no option but to trudge around the Kinross site up to their knees in mud.
