Storm Lee says Simon Cowell is a ‘nice guy off camera’

FORMER X Factor hopeful Storm Lee Gardner has revealed that judge Simon Cowell is not as nasty as his on-screen persona may suggest.

The Edinburgh-born singer was on the receiving end of some harsh comments from Mr Cowell including being compared to “a singing fly”.

Despite this, Storm Lee said he holds no grudges and has confessed that the pair had a good relationship away from the cameras and described Simon as “a really nice guy”.

X FACTOR star Gamu Nhengu and her family have turned to God as the battle to keep her dream alive goes on.

18-year-old Gamu is being counselled by her local Pastor as the frenzy of her being booted off the show and out of the UK reaches its peak ahead of tomorrow’s (sat) finals.

Storm Lee and Simon Cowell are ‘so alike’ says brother

THE BROTHER of Scottish X Factor hopeful Storm Lee Gardner thinks he and judge Simon Cowell are bound to get along soon because they are “so alike”.

Cowell previously dubbed the 37-year-old singer “so annoying” and has been caught on camera repeatedly rolling his eyes and making fun of Storm Lee’s name.

But – the contestant’s brother Gary said he thinks it is all part of a love-hate relationship between the two.
